British National Hockey Museum opened

Containing many unique records of hockey through the years the museum, based in Woking, is now open to visitors. Many items including videos and photos are also available at the museum's website www.hockeyarchives.co.uk. The records are not restricted to international matches alone and the curators are looking for clubs to send items through for showing to the wider public.

GB announces Women’s Champions Trophy Squad

The Great Britain women's hockey squads have been announced for the forthcoming FIH Champions Trophy in Rosario, Argentina, and a four nations preparation tournament in Cordoba. In total, 22 athletes will make the trip to South America in January including all of those shortlisted for the FIH World All Stars Team of 2011.

U16 & U18 Assessments

Successful U16 and U18 Boys assessments days took place over the weekend of 10th & 11th December. Assessments for invited U16 & U18 Girls will be held on Sunday 15th January 2012.

Hockey Internationals Club

It had been the ambition of a number of former international players to create a club for current and ex-international players, umpires and officials from GB and all the Home Nations and to use the springboard of the Olympics in London in 2012 to provide the impetus and commitment to bring the club into existence.
