The Wales NAG squads will take on Scotland at U16 and U18 level, in a three match test series over the Easter weekend. Both Girls and Boys squads will be in action and Head Coaches, Gwyn Williams and Lee Ible have named the squads to take on their Scottish counterparts.
Matches will be played on the 19th, 20th and 21st April, at the National Hockey Centre at Sophia Gardens and Cwmbran Stadium. Final match times to be announced.
The event will be the first taste of international action for many of the staff across the two squads, Joe Gleeson and Shelley Robinson, have recently taken on the managerial roles for the NAG squads. Joe managing the boys, with Shelley taking the lead with the girls. In addition, three new coaches will be taking their international bow with Wales, Rob Sorrell with the girls and Lee Marshall and Ian Haley with the boys. Further new recruits to the support staff include Sam Rowe and Amy Booth, leading on the performance analysis for the boys and girls respectively and Christy Walklin will look after the boys from a physio perspective.
Congratulations to all those that got selected to represent Wales at their respective age group!
