Yesterday, Wales secured an outstanding 3-0 win against Czech Republic, the top ranked team in the tournament. Wales started with intent, applying pressure to the Czech Republic back line from the opening whistle; it was Jo Westwood who opened the scoring for Wales through a penalty corner; taking the lead and heading into half time 1-0.

Yet again Wales started the second half with the same intent as the first. Wales executed a penalty corner again through Eloise Laity. Later in the third quarter Wales got their third when they were awarded a penalty stroke. Vice Captain Beth Bingham scored the stroke.

A brilliant win for Wales!
