- From the West – the A4161 (Wellington Street) and turning off onto one of the side roads and parking in the vicinity of the stadium.
- From the East – the A4119 (Cardiff Road) as far as the top of Penhill Road, carrying on straight over the lights onto the B4267 (Llandaff Road) and turning left onto one of the many side roads and parking in the vicinity of the stadium.
The main road along the front of the Castle will be closed from 08:45 to 12:00.

Hockey Wales is delighted to have been selected by FIH to host one of the 1st round tournaments in this new and exciting World competition. Full details of the World League are detailed elsewhere on this website (including new rules specifically introduced for Nation level tournaments) but needless to say we are looking forward to welcoming squads and supporters from Ireland, Austria and Sweden as well as the officials and umpires, without whom such a tournament would not be possible.
It will not just be hockey matches that are on offer, but also entertainment, an official charitable dinner, a number of varieties of different food and drink to suit all palates as well as Hockey Wales launching some new and progressive initiatives. We trust that all players, officials, coaches and supporters will enjoy their experience in Cardiff to what is the first FIH tournament hosted by Hockey Wales.
On the Supporters tab on the left of this page we have put together information to assist those travelling to Cardiff from abroad, including hotel packages and also to enable supporters to book tickets early to make sure they obtain a discount on the normal 'on-the-day' entry fees.
Following the Wales match on Saturday 8th, a large number of ex-Welsh international & GB players will be paraded onto the pitch – the first time such a large number of internationals have come together at the same time!
Sunday is our 'Family Day' with fun and entertainment for all the youngsters including face painting. It's also the day for Mums and Dads to have a day away from cooking with a wide variety of food and drink available to purchase!
