BOYS HOCKEY5S HAS ARRIVED IN POWYS!

Hockey5s has arrived in Powys! The small sided, fast paced games will provide fun competitive opportunities for 11 – 16-year-old boys living in the North Powys area. The games will act as a bridge between junior training sessions and men’s hockey across Mid Wales strengthening the current junior and senior structures. The purpose is to also transition school players in to regular club players. Players need not have any hockey playing experience. If players would like some training, they could attend the Newtown Hockey Development Centre to practice their skills before tournaments. During the season, there are also various local hockey clubs who provide great opportunities to play regular hockey, see the Hockey Wales club finder to find your local club. On the night, Hockey Wales will be providing refreshments (soft drinks and small snacks) for players and parents so come down and watch the action!
