U21 WOMEN FACE SCOTLAND IN THREE MATCH TEST SERIES

Today our U21 Women head over to Glasgow to face Scotland in a three match test series across this bank holiday weekend.

In preparation for their upcoming Euros in July, the squad look to use this test series to put into practice what they’ve been working on in recent training camps and aim to put in a hard battle against the Scots on their home ground.

Walid Abdo, Head Coach shares his excitement about this test series:

“Really keen to test ourselves against a strong Scottish team on their home pitch. I’m excited about the potential of this squad. Going into these tests and the upcoming of the Euros, they have been working really hard over the last few weeks and it’s now time to put the strategies into practice”

Two recent injuries for Sara M Davies and Emma Brierley see a squad of 17 heading to compete in the test series, with Megan Bowen stepping in for Sara. We wish a speedy recovery to both Sara and Emma and hope they are able to be back with the squad soon.
