Hoci Cymru is seeking an outstanding Head Coach to lead the Wales Senior Men's Hockey Programme into an exciting new chapter of international competition.

With the 2027 EuroHockey Championship A Division on the horizon, we are looking for an ambitious and experienced coach who can inspire our players, drive performance and help shape the long-term future of men's hockey in Wales.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing the team to compete at the highest level of European hockey, while building a sustainable, high-performance programme capable of challenging the world's leading hockey nations beyond 2027.

This is a hands-on coaching and leadership opportunity. Working closely with the Director of Performance, the Head Coach will be responsible for setting the team's technical and tactical direction, leading the coaching and support staff, and creating an environment in which players can thrive and reach their full potential.

As a part-time, non-centralised programme, the role requires an adaptable and resourceful leader who understands the demands of international hockey alongside players' club commitments, employment, education and personal lives. Maximising contact time, building a strong team culture and ensuring effective preparation will be central to success.
