In order for us to have constructive, informed discussions around facility planning and strategy we rely heavily on our Hockey Family to provide us with up to date, accurate information. If you have an update, concern or query about a facility you use, we need to hear from you.

Please provide as much detail as possible to facilities@hockeywales.org.uk or complete the form below. When sending images, please provide the date and time these were taken so we can maintain accurate records.

People Development

People Development generally relates to volunteers, umpires, coaches and club officials who enable the sport to happen on a regular basis. Our hugely successful Hockey Young Ambassador programme seeks to develop people for the future.

We work with clubs to develop their governing structure, so they are run responsibly, and develop qualifications and courses to ensure training sessions are safe and effective, and matches are officiated in the right spirit. We value the hard work and commitment of our volunteers and celebrate their achievements through the annual Hockey Wales Awards. Hockey Wales work closely with schools and other educational facilities. The continued support we offer schools, alongside the provision of relevant training and qualifications, is part of the ongoing ambition to embed hockey as a mainstream sport throughout education.
