The Hockey Family are saddened to hear that Steve Edwards of Llandudno, North Wales, passed away on Saturday 13 April 2024.

Steve was an exceptionally passionate member of the hockey family at Llandudno HC and Wales as a whole. He devoted so much time into developing players, through his Wales U16, U18 and U21 Coaching roles and later on supported Hockey Wales as a coach developer and assessor, both regionally and nationally.

Those who had the honour of knowing Steve would agree he was a passionate, well respected, and very honest man and a good friend to many. He will be fondly remembered for his famous hat.
