Hockey Wales are delighted to be hosting the 2023 EHF European Under 18s Championships in Swansea this July. As the event sees some of Europe’s’ top young talent go head to head, it also provides an opportunity for hockey fans to engage on different levels.
From a fan’s perspective, you can come and support the Welsh U18s Boys and Girls throughout the week; but the event offers an opportunity to see a different side of major events.
Previous volunteers have had some very positive experiences at Hockey Wales events, one volunteer commented:
"Being a Hockey Maker for the Women's Europeans in 2017 was one of my favourite experiences, I met so many new friends and got to watch some incredible hockey whilst contributing to the success of the tournament"
Hockey Wales are offering opportunities for people from across the Hockey Family to come and volunteer and be part of the wider delivery team.
There are numerous roles to choose from, including:
· Ticketing Assistants
· Merchandise Support
· Pitch-side Assistants
· Fan Engagement, and
· Team Liaison Officers
