Ranmore Fund Management Launches Donation Matching Campaign to Support Wales Men Ahead of FIH Hockey World Cup

Hoci Cymru is delighted to announce Ranmore Fund Management as the official shirt sponsor of the Wales Senior Men's team for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup, alongside a major donation matching initiative to help the team reach its fundraising target.

From today until the close of the crowdfunding campaign, Ranmore has pledged to match every pound donated, up to the remaining £40,000 target. The initiative means every contribution made during the final hours of the campaign will have double the impact in supporting the team's journey to the World Cup.

Having qualified for only the second FIH Hockey World Cup in the nation's history, the Wales Senior Men's team continues to raise funds to help cover the significant costs of competing on the world's biggest stage.

As one of international hockey's smaller nations, Wales relies on external fundraising to support training camps, international travel, accommodation, performance support and essential equipment as the squad prepares to compete against the world's best in Belgium and the Netherlands this August.

With the campaign entering its final hours, Hoci Cymru is encouraging supporters, clubs, businesses and the wider Welsh sporting community to get behind the team. Every pound donated from today onwards will be matched by Ranmore, doubling the impact of every contribution. A £5,000 donation from supporters will become £10,000 through Ranmore's pledge, while £10,000 raised will be matched in full.

The Wales Senior Men's team first made history by qualifying for the 2023 FIH Hockey World Cup in India before securing qualification once again for the 2026 tournament. As the squad prepares to represent Wales on the world stage, Hoci Cymru hopes the team's continued success will inspire the next generation of players and help establish regular World Cup qualification as the standard for Welsh hockey.
