Coach Course - Module 1 - Learning Environments and Hockey Intelligence Part 1

By the end of the course, learners should be able to:

• Oversee a team of coaches in the delivery of fun & engaging sessions to support players development using the #endinmind principles
• Enhance your coaching craft to help create engaging and inclusive environments
• Apply the Golden Thread to longer-term planning to develop an effective series of linked coaching sessions which incorporate the current development themes

This Course is made up of 4 Modules, you will need to attend all modules in order and complete an online portfolio in order to complete the course.

• Module 1 - Learning Environments and Hockey Intelligence Part 1
• Module 2 - Learning Environments and Hockey Intelligence Part 2
• Module 3 - Learning Environments and Hockey Intelligence Part 3
• Module 4 - Self Awareness in Coaching Craft and Practice

This first module will cover the following areas linked to Hockey Intelligence and Learning Environments:

• Golden Thread and Change It
• Warm Ups
• Moving the Ball to go forwards
• Carrying the Ball to go forwards

You must have completed a Coaching Club Workshop prior attending this course.

On completion of all required learning (including attendance on all modules and completion of an online portfolio) coaches will receive a Great Britain Hockey recognised certificate as evidence of this course.
